| Spring Break is finally here!! Hallelujah, halfway through already but absolutley wonderful so far I figured I'd post some pics of what Ive been up to lately.... This semester I'm taking a class in learning how to use a 4x5 camera, or as my prof likes to call it "taming the beast". Here's a pic of me freezin my tush off using the so called "beast" And as most of you know Ive redone my room, so heres some pics of the progress. Ive made a few changes since I took these but it gives you an idea of my cafe/antique decor. and of course i must add the new Soph pics...
Well, enjoy all y'alls spring break! I know i will, later all
| So It has definitely been awhile since my last update so I thought I'd finally give a lil somin for y'all to read... Not to mention it seems I have been tagged by my sister to reveal six weird things about myself..... RULES: Each player of this game starts with the 6 weird things about you. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 6 weird things as well as state the rules clearly. In the end, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. Don't forget to leave a comment that says you are tagged in their comments and tell them to read your blog. So here it goes.... 1) For starters, like my sister, I DO not like my food to touch as well. It may all go to the same place, but it should not have to start that way. I say savor each taste individually and be proud! 2) I may not be an amazing singer, but I am definitely guilty of belting out a few tunes when in the shower. Not singing............BELTING. 3) "Gross" most would say but for me cheesy Doritos dipped in apple sauce is quite the delicacy. 4) If you carry on a conversation with me you may already know, a British or Brooklyn accent may inhabit my speech every so often. Dont ask me why because I really dont know.....may have something to do with movies... 5)If you have ever seen the movie Bridget Jones Diary, I, unfortuantely, see an extreme amount of similarity between me and Bridget...and if you havent- rent it, watch it, and you will understand if you know anything about me....(this is also the reason for my AIM icon) 6)I am always the person who is still laughing when everyone has stopped....I believe I find things to be more hilarious than they may actually be......O well......Charlie chaplin says a day without laughter is a day wasted! I chose to tag Lips, Kendra, Jon, Swalsh, MacDaddy, and Jo Jo Well leaving you with that, I thought I would post a recent pic of me and Swalsh on an outing. Basically, it comes down to this- you walk past a section of hats, why not stop and try one on??? = P and voila!!!!
Love you all! Until next time.....
| Well I cant sleep so I thought I'd give my ol' xanga site a festive lil makeover and actually write a new post. For starters, I just want to to let everyone know how well my little niece is doing. Brittany's actual due date was today so she really looks and is acting like a healthy newborn now . If you want to see some pics of little Sophie Mae you can go to Britt's site www.xanga.com/TBHill19 . She looks as cute as ever and boy is she forming some good rolls, especially around the thigh region Also, last week was the first time I was able to hold her. It's so much just to be next to her but to be able to feel the weight of her little self just makes her all the more real. I love that little goober so much already! She has definitely been an answer to everyones prayers On another note, Kara, Ben, and I went to a corn maze a week or so ago. The maze was cut into the shape of a pirate ship, that was pretty schweet!! It took us maybe a couple hours or so to get through the whole maze. I have to admit too, if Ben wasn't there, Kara and I might have been in there for who knows how long......anywho, here are some pics of our adventure......
Good Times fo sho!! In other news, Ive spent this whole last weekend painting my bedroom....I dont think I'll be too sad to see the blue swirls go...... on Saturday my sisters and I went and saw Tim Burton's, "The Nightmare Before Christmas" in 3D in the IMAX theatre. Sadly, just as the beginnning credits began to roll, I busted the one side of my 3D glasses and ended up having to bobby pin them to my head so that they wouldnt fall off....whadya gonna do, eh??......then yesterday my dad and I went and saw The Prestige....good but not spectacular...... Well, enough news for now.....Im gonna attempt to get some shut eye Nighty night all...... p.s. Go Tigers!!!!!
| Well first and foremost, I have to say I absolutely love my new niece, Sophia Mae Hill. She's already almost a month old. I know I've gotten to see and touch her just once, but those moments with her made me smile ear to ear. She's fighting her way through each obstacle, for specifics and pics you can check Britt's(mommy) site: www.xanga.com/TBHill19 . Even though, she still needs as many prayers as possible, everyone helps. So last Friday I got to get out of school/work routine and go catch a ball game. Travis and I went to Detroit and watched the Tigers play the Orioles and boy what a good game!! The Tigers a had a few homeruns, but besides, just pretty much creamed the orioles 17-2. We both got towels that say Zum- bye-ya on em referring to Zumaya one of there pitchers, if you didnt know. On the towel is a ball that says 104 mph which is the fastest he's thrown! I also got a hat, which im sure you may see me wearin sometime in the near future. Not to mention in the pics below. Anywho, after the game, we stayed for some fireworks and then just walked around the stadium so we could see all the monuments and pictures posted all over. It's an awesome park, I got a quite a few pics but heres just a few from our lil rondezvous... Entrance to the park....
View from where we sat....
